Mia Hunt

Mia (daughter) grew up playing basketball and loves keeping up with the fashion, culture and on-court happenings in the WNBA. Like her mom, Mia’s professional background is in journalism. She worked as a digital producer for local TV news in Spokane and Seattle, WA, and uses that journalistic experience to bring you well-researched rants every week. She’s based on Camano Island in Washington state.

Chris selk

Chris (mother) grew up in Iowa—a state with no shortage of passion for women’s basketball. She has worked as a reporter, writer and editor for many publications, including USA Today and The Oregonian. In addition to her journalism skills, she brings motherly advice and hot takes to HomeStans. She lived in Portland, Oregon, for yearsssss, but is now living in Denver, Colorado, with her husband.
